Nam’s father was very busy, and so was Minh’s father. One day, Nam told Minh about a conversation between him and his dad.
Nam:
“Dad, how much money do you earn in a day?”
“About one million. Why do you ask?”
“This is one million that I’ve saved up for a long time. Could you take a whole day off tomorrow to spend time with me?”
Hearing that, Nam’s father felt a lump in his throat. The two hugged each other tightly, filled with love.
After hearing the story, Minh decided to try the same thing. When he got home, he immediately asked his dad:
“Dad, how much money do you earn in a day?”
“About ten million. Why are you asking?”
“Oh… nothing. I was just curious. Dad, please take good care of your health, work hard, and don’t take a day off, okay?”
