A farmer bought a very energetic rooster. The rooster mated with all the hens, then even the ducks, making them lay eggs continuously. The farmer was very pleased.
One day, after coming back from the field, he saw the rooster lying motionless on the grass behind the house, with several crows hovering above, waiting to eat its body.
The farmer felt sorry and sighed:
- Oh my poor rooster! Why did you leave me so soon?
The rooster slightly opened its eyes and said:
- Dad, please move somewhere else, or the crows will fly away!
